El Paso Opera is coming to Las Cruces and is going gourmet! Bon Appétit! promises to be a delicious and delectable evening of culinary comedy. El Paso Opera’s new Artistic Associate, mezzo-soprano Cherry Duke, transforms into beloved master chef Julia Child! As she demonstrates how to make a classic French chocolate cake adapted directly from the classic Julia Child television broadcast, there is flour flying and eggbeaters racing with a completed cake magically produced by the end of the show! The food-filled fun rounds out with a set of other scrumptious songs making Bon Appétit! a guaranteed recipe for laughs! It will be a deliciously funny opera collection!
